Andrea Driggs McLeod, LCSW, RPT-S
Andrea is currently certified as a Child-Centered Play Therapist through the National Institute for Relationship Enhancement and is Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S). She has also completed extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Andrea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and Washington, D.C. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus on Child and Family Mental Health from the University of Baltimore at Maryland. Andrea is currently certified as a Child-Centered Play Therapist through the National Institute for Relationship Enhancement and is Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S). She has also completed extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
For nearly 10 years, Andrea Driggs McLeod has been working with children and families in the District of Columbia in a variety of settings including the DC child welfare and DC Public Schools. Andrea has experience facilitating both individual and group therapy centered on a variety of social, emotional, and academic challenges including those experiencing anxiety, depression, anger management, behavioral difficulties, trauma, and loss.
