She has published articles and presents at conferences on issues relating to attachment, trauma, discrimination, intimate partner violence, LGBT, gender identity, and HIV risk. Courtney is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Play Therapy, and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children.
