Complaints and Appeals:
Complaints against an Approved Provider should first be filed in writing with the Approved Provider directly for resolution. If satisfaction is not obtained, APT’s Continuing Education Coordinator should be contacted in writing to achieve a final resolution.
Transportation:
There are two major airports in the Northern Virginia area:Ronald Reagan National Airport and Dulles Airport. Ronald Reagan is approximately 30 minutes from the host site and Dulles airport is about the same distance. All trainings will be held in the Vienna, Virginia area.
Lodging:
We are happy to refer our workshop participants to the Homewood Suites by Hilton, located about 5 minutes from our offices. There is a swimming pool and a nice dining area and courtyard. The rooms are all suites with a kitchen area. Our favorite is the shuttle to and from Starbright and the Metro. The hotel is walking distance to the Silver Diner.
Cancellation Policy:
Please be mindful that we offer limited-sized sessions and make decisions about holding workshops based on registration. A 75% will be reimbursed to registrants who request a cancellation no later than TWO WEEKS prior to the workshop. As a general rule, no refunds will be issued for cancellation requests initiated within 14 days of your scheduled workshop. Starbright will, however, consider at our discretion a 35% refund in cases of extreme emergency. All refunds, except for the workshops canceled by Starbright Institute will incur a $35 Transaction Fee. Starbright Institute is not responsible for any expenses incurred by registrants if a training course is canceled.

Grievance Policy
STI seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person and to make every attempt to resolve grievances in a fair manner. Grievances will receive, to the best of our ability, corrective action in order to prevent further problems.
Work Scholarships:
A limited number of "work scholarships" and partial-discount "hardship scholarships" are available upon written request. Please write a letter stating why you qualify for these scholarships to Myriam Goldin and email to our new email: Starbright.Inst@outlook.com
